We are sorry to say goodbye to coach Alex and his assistants Chris and Mark. Alex will have his hands full as a
new father of twins. They did a great job with the team having won districts in 2010 and making Districts the last 4 years.
A new coach has been named, Mark Bonin. Mark brings years of coaching experience as well as having served on the
Gates Baseball Board of Directors.
We are currently exploring replacing the flag pole with one with an internal halyard . This should discouarge
anyone who feels the need to steal our new flags.
If you have not already noticed, the sign has been replaced with a weather friendly design that should last for
many years.
We will begin distributing poppies in May. This year we are looking to hand out 1000 poppies.
